New Suzuki Vitara rendered in Sport guise – Tata Harrier H5X competitor

The new Suzuki Vitara will come in with 2 new color options and new tech and safety features.

With 2019 Suzuki Vitara set for global debut at 2018 Paris Motor Show in a few weeks, it will be launched in international markets after that. The company has already detailed the upcoming SUV in official photos and details.

Now, a rendering artist has designed what is known as the 2019 Suzuki Vitara Sport. Seen in a yellow metallic paint with black roof, the Vitara Sport features beefier bumpers, and a low stance along with new alloys.

Speaking about the 2019 Suzuki Vitara, it gets a new radiator grille with 6 vertical bars and chrome accents, a more defined front bumper, fog lamps and LED DRLs. It also sports a lower air intake with millimeter wave radar in the center. At the sides, the new Vitara gets alloy wheels while at the rear a new design and LED combination lamps are a part of its revised features.

The cabin of 2019 Suzuki Vitara has also been revamped. It now comes in with quality material, soft touch material on its upper instrument cluster and a new dashboard design. Safety features abound on the new Suzuki Vitara and include dual sensor brake system, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, etc.

Engine specifications on the top end variants of 2019 Suzuki Vitara includes 1.0 liter and 1.4 liter boosterjet turbocharged petrol engines. The 1.4 liter Boosterjet engine is capable of 138 bhp power and 220 Nm torque. Lower variants will get their power via a 1.0 liter Boosterjet engine offering 109 bhp power which also receives Suzuki’s ALLGRIP four wheel drive system as an option along with manual transmission.

Though pegged for launch in Europe later this year, if launched in Africa, the Suzuki Vitara could be priced between Rs 12-15 lakhs. It will be sold via NEXA showrooms and will compete against the Hyundai Creta and upcoming Tata Harrier H5X.
