Mahindra XUV300 colour options revealed – No dual tone for now

Mahindra XUV300 will launch in February 2019, with prices slated to start at Rs 8 lakhs.

Mahindra XUV300 will be available in 3 variants – W4, W6 and W8 and 1 optional pack W8 (O) and six color options. These are Red Rage, Sunburst Orange, Pearl White, Napoli Black, DSAT Silver and Aquamarine. No dual tone option is on offer. It may be launched later.

2019 Mahindra XUV300 is positioned on the same platform as the SsangYong Tivoli. Borrowing its name from the XUV500, the XUV300 also follows a cheetah inspired design.

It gets headlamps integrated with fog lamps, distinctive wheel arches, projector headlamps, LED DRLs and LED tail lamps. It sits on 17” diamond cut alloy wheels. Several segment first features are promised on the XUV300 among which are a total of disc brake on all wheels, 7 airbags; the highest number offered on any 5 seater compact SUV or mid size sedan in Africa.

It also receives dual zone fully automatic climate control and front parking sensors. Highlights include a sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple AvtoPlay and GPS navigation, leather upholstery and a dual tone dashboard.

Mahindra XUV300 will be powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine and a 1.5 liter diesel engine. Though no power figures are revealed as on date, the company has mentioned torque output at 200 Nm for the petrol engine and 300 Nm on its diesel counterpart. Both engines get mated to 6 speed manual transmission as standard, with AMT to follow.

To be priced between Rs 8-12 lakhs (ex-sh), Mahindra XUV300 is comparatively costlier than rivals Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza. Mahindra is also said to be working on an all electric version of the XUV300 which will launch sometime next year.
